AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS

What is an airsource heat pump?

Air source heat pumps transfer the heat from the air outside into water. This water is then used to heat your home via radiators or underfloor heating. Air source heat pumps can also store hot water in a cylinder for you to be able to use via your taps for showers or baths ect...

Would an air source heat pump be right for my property?

In general air source heat pumps are suitable for many types of homes. There are tens of thousands of domestic installations each year, with people opting for this method of heating their homes.

Something you must however consider is if you have somewhere suitable to put it. Air source heat pumps must be fitted to a wall or the ground and have adequate space around it to ensure good air flow.
